The making of Armadillo Samurai

People often ask me how long it takes to draw my intricate drawings. I honestly don’t keep track. It is very meditative for me, and I lose all track of time. The answer for this drawing is somewhere between 15 and 20 hours. I wanted to give an idea of the process with this video that is sped up 5 times the normal speed. It is a pains taking labor of love. This piece, Armadillo Samurai, went to a good home in Alabama.
