Inspired by dreams,
art drawn from the heart

Water color with pen and ink painting. A crow sits on a branch in the cool blue light of the full moon. The background is an abstract water color dry brush with diagonal brush marks in shades of blue. The full moon shows off its seas in darker shades of blue. The crow and the branch are exquisitely detailed with fine win work. The crow is in shades of blue to black and the branch is in shades of brown with a couple of smaller branches bearing cottonwood leaves that fall in front of the moon.

GALLERY

Graphite drawing. A Deer Mouse sits on the forest ground amid dried sticks and leaves. Each leaf is beautifully rendered, showing all the veins in each one. The mouse holds his front paws up under his chin looking expectantly at the viewer. Each bit of fur is carefully drawn and the mouses eyes have depth and luminescence that seems impossible to achieve with a mere graphite pencil.
